You get access to theory and theory tests for car and motorcycle. For car there are 30 video lessons covering training (in 6 languages) and online theory book (Danish and English), 40 theory tests in many languages. We also have additional exercises on right of way. For motorcycles, there are 30 video lessons and 15 theory tests in English and Danish.
If your passport has expired, you may bring one of the following forms of identification:
Any previously issued driving licence (EU model – credit card format), or
If you do not have any of the above, an original birth certificate, health card, or another acceptable form of photographic identification may be used.
If your social security number, date of birth, or place of birth does not clearly appear on your passport or previous driving licence, you must also present an identification document issued by a public authority showing your social security number or your name and place of birth clearly.
If you have changed your name and this is not shown on the documents listed above, the name change must be documented by presenting a marriage certificate, name change certificate, or official documentation confirming notification to the marriage authority or national register.
Please remember to bring your application for a driving licence and your driving instructor’s copy of the lesson plan, fully completed.
To read the online theory book, you must use a PC. The e-book can be found in the Theory menu.
It will typically be sufficient if you need to reacquire your driving licence following a conditional or unconditional revocation, or if you are exchanging your driving licence for a Danish driving licence.
If you are acquiring a driving licence for the first time, our theory teaching system alone will not be sufficient. In this case, Danish regulations require you to receive both theory and practical instruction consisting of at least 53 lessons of 45 minutes each, provided by an approved driving instructor.
