Breaks and certificates have been extended due to the covid-19 shutdown.

While the driving instructors are not allowed to teach either theory or practical lessons, the driving tests are also closed. This shutdown of teaching applies for the time being until 5 April 2021.

The break rules have been lifted and also that the validity of certificates has been extended. Your medical certificate must not be more than three months old when you apply to start the driving course. The medical certificate must not be more than 1 year and 9 months old when the driving license is issued.

However, the driving tests for the large vehicle categories have not been cancelled.

Only on Bornholm have the tests for all categories resumed on 10/3-21. Only citizens who are residents of Bornholm can be nominated for the theory test and practical test.
