Driver's License App

From today, November 24, you can download your driving license to your smartphone. This means you no longer have to drive around with your plastic driving license when you drive in Denmark. Driving license app is only valid in Denmark and abroad you cannot use your driving license on the app. You must also continue to keep your driving license in plastic.

However, there is still a fine if your mobile phone runs out of power and you are therefore unable to show your driving license on demand.

You decide for yourself whether you want to use this app. The requirements to download the app require a newer smartphone and you must have a passport and nemID.
