Lost goods on the motorway

Approx. 4000 times a year goods are lost on the roads. It is a major nuisance for traffic and can cause accidents. So remember to fasten your goods properly. You must never stop on the motorway, but report it to the Traffic Information Center on tel. 80 20 20 60

If you see faults or similar on the motorway or a main country road, the Road Directorate will be happy to inform you of this. You are welcome to take a photo and use their website or smartphone app to send the message. If it is a smaller road, you must contact the municipality.

The things you can notify are e.g.

As I said, you can call dangerous incidents or injuries on tel. 80 2020 60. It could be objects on the road, dangerous potholes, accidents, queues or something else. If your car stalls on the motorway lanes, you must call the emergency center on 112. Remember to have the yellow reflective vest in the car so that you can be seen more easily if you need to get out of the car. Reflective vests are also good for other activities to be seen more easily in the dark – running, cycling, walking etc.
