TRAFFIC SAFETY IN FIGURES 2016

The number of people killed in traffic in 2015 was 178 and in 2016 it increased to 211 people killed.

Over twice as many men as women lost their lives in traffic.

Almost half of all injured were cyclists.

PERSONAL INJURIES BY MEANS OF TRANSPORT:

The total number of people killed in traffic was 211, of which 109 were in cars, 28 on motorbikes, 22 on mopeds, 31 on bicycles and 36 pedestrians.

The numbers are taken from Statistics Denmark.
