In the future, it will not be necessary to take a driver's license, the cars will be self-driving and safer than human-operated cars.
The majority of all accidents happen right now due to human error and most accidents will be avoidable by using the new technologies and self-driving cars. The technology has not reached there yet, but many large companies such as Google, Tesla, Ford and Volvo are investing large sums of money in the new technology.
Some modern cars already have the technology to keep or change the lane and keep a distance and follow the car in front up to the legal speed or brake if the driver does not do so in the event of a sudden obstacle.
